MINAT in solidarity with distressed people
MINAT Boss extends Humanitarian aid and sum of 1.5 Million FCFA to the Garden for education and healing Orphanage in Bamenda

The "Garden for education and healing" orphanage in Bamenda played host to about 50 kids before the arrival of 79 cases of displaced kids from Menchum Division due to the current crisis in the North-West Region. Informed about the displaced children, the Minister of Territorial Administration Paul Atanga Nji pays a visit to orphanage inorder to asess the situation and handover to the concerned, relief materials and foodstuffs. At his arrival accompanied by the Governor of the North-West and his entire Etat-major, Minister Paul Atanga Nji is briefed on the situation by the Director of the orphanage Rev Samuel Nitighel.

Touched by the condition of the children the Minister spontaneously disbursed a sum of 1.5 million fcfa to help remedy the situation. According to the MINAT Boss, humanitarian assistance plan of action was put in place by the Head of State H.E Paul Biya, not only to take care of the internally displaced persons(IDP) but to help all those who are in difficulties in the country.

The General Director of the Orphanage appreciated the gesture from the Minister which he says will go a long way to help especially the displaced children with disturbing health condition.

Minister Paul Atanga Nji, in a chat encouraged an old woman displaced to the Orphanage due to the current crisis in the Region.

Before leaving the Orphanage, the Minister signed the visitor's book in which he highlighted that the said orphanage needed more help from the Government.
