Covid-19 : The North-West Region received the presidential gift
The North-West Region received today her own share of the presidential gift meant to combat the spread of the corona Virus.

The North-West Region on wednesday April 29,2020 received her own share of the presidential gift meant to combat the spread of the corona Virus.
In total 1870 cartons of soap, 1020 containers of 30L each of hand sanitizers, 6800 Hand Washing buckets, 34.000 face masks are the materials to be distributed within the North-West Region.
While receiving the gifts on behalf of the Governor, the Secretary General at the North-West Governor's Office Viang Mekala appreciated the gesture from the Head of State which he says will help fight the spread of the corona virus in the Region. He added that population needs to be more caution given that the situation is becoming more serious with North-West Region having cases of the Corona Virus and that with the arrival of these items, a lot of people who were complaining of not having face masks and means of protecting themselves can now boast of this gift from the Head of State His Exellency Paul Biya.
On his part the head of the mission to the North-West Region, Mr Tchuente Gilbert, Subdirector in the departement of Civil Protection at the Ministry of Territorial Administration says the materials, offered for free by the Head of State His Exellency Paul Biya will help the population respect some of the measures put in place by the Government, specifically the regular washing of hands with Soap and water.
The 7 senior Divisional Officers are expected to supervise the distributions of these materials to the 34 Subdivisions of the North-West Region.
